Laurels residents receive quilts, shawls | Thestar | kpcnews.com

Oct 16, 2024

Residents from The Laurels of DeKalb will keep a little cozier this season with one of 115 lapghans, lap quilts and shawls. Taking an idea from Butler Public Library patron Chris Taylor and challenging the community to help brought forth a beautiful assortment of colors, patterns and styles from which Laurels residents can choose to enjoy. Items are still being accepted by Butler Public Library and can be dropped off during library hours. Taylor presents several items to Laurels staff members Madison Siebenaler and Summer Barker.
